But more importantly, I’m a human who loves her life. But it hasn’t always been that way.

For years, I was stuck deep in my “good girl era.” Repeating patterns of self sabotage, speaking badly to myself, staying in relationships and situations that I wasn’t happy in. I’d over explain, over apologize, and always question if someone was mad at me or if I was being dramatic. I felt too unsure of myself to speak my truth, so I’d change who I was to fit in. I’d change my appearance, my opinions, my personality. Always asking everyone else how I should live my life. Completely forgetting that I was the one living it.

From the outside it looked like I had my life together. I was doing all the right things. I was keeping the peace. I had a good job, a cute apartment, and all the material things. But what I didn’t have was confidence. Self trust. Belief that I was good enough.

I’d tried all the things: Talk therapy, journaling, affirmations, but I still found myself ending up in the same situations with the same feelings over and over again. And that’s when I decided to try something different, and involve my body in the equation.

That one decision changed everything. Through somatic work, I stopped fighting my body and instead learned to work with it. I began understanding the patterns I'd been running for years, why they felt so familiar, and how to create new ones that actually supported the life I wanted to live.

Little by little, I stopped abandoning myself. I started trusting my intuition. Speaking up. Setting boundaries. Allowing myself to be joyful, and silly, and take up space. I found my spark again.

That journey changed my life so much that I couldn't not learn more. So I left the career I'd spent years building and immersed myself in the study of somatics and Traditional Chinese Medicine, becoming certified in Somatic Experiencing, Light Leader Kundalini™, and other body-based modalities that completely transformed the way I understood healing.

Today, I blend those practices to help women break free from their own "good girl," programming and reconnect with who they truly are. Because I know what it's like to lose yourself. But I also know just how beautiful it is to find your way back. 💕
